Real Homemade Spaghetti and Meatballs

I was so hungry last night that I didn't take a picture. Shame on me. But, we had one of the best real homemade dinners that I've made in a while. A few weeks ago I took all of the really ripe Roma tomatoes from my garden and tried my hand at homemade sauce. It was lacking depth, but the flavors were amazing! I also used lots of fresh herbs from my garden, too. To complement this sauce, I made fresh ground turkey meatballs. I baked them then let them simmer in the sauce for a couple of hours.

Served over whole wheat spaghetti, with a side of Caprese Salad and garlic bread, it was a tasty dinner. A tasty dinner indeed.
